Please note:
A single hour of maintenance can be allocated to perform either routine front-end website updates, OR the uploading of up to 5 products, OR the loading of 2 blog posts. (Whatever makes up one hour) Please note that this hour cannot be divided to cover all three tasks fully, or concurrently.
*Website Daily Backups can only be done when hosted on our servers.
The Finer Details
The per hour rate will kick in if you have used up your Client Care Package hours per month.
Updates usually includes content changes, such as replacing images, contact details update, change of banners and specials or generic text/content updates. It does include products addition, deletion, or changes.
The Client care packages does not include the creation of new Website Pages, Overhauls of website look and feel, and addition of extra functionality.
These items will be quoted separately.
Our response time is usually between 2 and 4 hours. If you have significant (Or many) changes, this time can range between 1 and 2 days.
The 1-hour states the total time you have for the month. The 5 product upload just gives a point of reference for what can be done in one hour. Meaning if you need to load a Blog post, and 3 products, that will be doable in one hour. If you want to load 5 products, and 1 Blog Post, we will have to quote you an extra half an hour, as this will take us about an hour and a half to accomplish.
Monthly Reports will be sent on the 30th of each month.
We update all Plugins and WordPress Core Software once a month, either at the end of the month or at the beginning of the month. It all depends on how busy we are, but we make sure to do it within a 30 days timeframe.
We are registered with a security company, which send us updates about vulnerabilities in WordPress or Plugins, in this case we will update all website softwares as soon as possible.
99% of the websites we build, we also host. Thus, our hosting accounts provides us with daily backups, which are stored for up to two weeks.
This allows us to “roll-back” your website in case anything goes side-ways.
If you are not hosted with us, there will be an additional charge for monthly backups of your website.
Thanks to our robust security measures, we are proud to say that we have never experienced a hacking incident on any of the websites designed and maintained by our team. The only exceptions have been cases where clients built their own websites and chose to host with us. In those instances, any security issues were due to factors beyond our control in the original website design. We did however managed to recover their websites.
If you are on a Client Care Package with us, and your website has a breach, we will restore and patch the website for you. If you are not on a package, we will charge an hourly rate of R650.
A hacked website can take between 6 – 12 hours to restore, patch and secure again (more or less 2 days downtime, and many late nights).
